The writers on this forum seem more interested in fiction or poetry. I like writing fiction sometimes, but honestly, I consider myself better at nonfiction. You don't have to worry about characterization, plotting, or making your prose look pretty for nonfiction, you just have to disseminate information clearly.

Using the pseudonym "Kahotep", I've written a couple of articles for a history-themed website called Rome: Total War Heaven. One article, which discusses the biological and cultural relationships of the ancient Egyptians, has been published on the website, while the other, a survey of three pre-colonial African militaries, is currently under review.

Sounds a bit odd, but.. I feel great doing this. Of course, all the non-fiction I've had the opportunity to write is for school, but still..
