Great Highland Bagpipe

I was wondering if anyone here plays the pipes. I'm interested in learning, and plan on getting a practice chanter soon. (Will hold off on the pipes until a bit later) I am especially interested in finding out if anyone on here in the OH/MI/IN area plays, and maybe would be interested in helping me get started on learning this beautiful instrument.

I hope you find someone to help! I once had a friend who played the pipes, and he explained to me a lot about them ... but after playing the trumpet for many years, I could not adjust to "just keep the bag full" where I used to have to use specific breathing for every note.
