I was just wondering if anybody had a hobby of writing. I have always loved writing for as long as I can remember but I never really did anything with it so I just kept it and I still read it from time to time.

I wrote several stories, some are sci-fi... One of them was one of the winners of a Quake Wars fan fiction contest over at Shacknews, so they sent me a t-shirt and dog tags.

assuming u mean fiction writing. which no i dont do. or poem
writing. not any more. im too old for that stuff (read my age)

I'm an aspiring writer and novelist, but I think my skills suck.

I write in a journal.

People have often complicated me on my writing skills, and some have said that I should become a writer. I remember writing a bunch of stories when I was in elementary school. During my first two years of high school, I wrote some articles for the school newspaper, and I was also on the yearbook staff all throughout high school.

I've been thinking that if I were to become a writer, I'd probably want to be a journalist. Although I have a bunch of stories ideas crammed in my head, I haven't been taking up the initiative to start writing. I'd like to, though.
