Please don't get offended by this!

I am a puppet.
I don't speak on my own; my opinions
Are just shoved-in by another mind.
My emotions are masked,
Controlled by the puppetier
Or the massive audience in front of my eyes.
I do not speak my mind;
My mind is not my own.
I am not myself everyday.
I am a puppet.

I hope this is good, too...

They do seem to be bound by some strange unspoken rules of engagement which might prevent them from expressing their true selves, don't they?

Yeah. Sometimes, at my school, I can just here LaKeisha (a code name for this really popular girl in my school) and her friends laughing at the same exact time. I wonder if there is a rule that people must laugh at every joke, even if it is not funny to you.

as for the idea...Nt's are largely controled by some other social force...you make a good point

as for the craft of the poem... you need to work on imagery. My poetry teacher used to scream , dont tell me....show me!! !
What is meant by this is create the image of what you are saying in the readers mind, create the emotions you feel into the readers spirit.

example:
This is telling: It is raining and it is a gloomy day

This is showing: Rain slowly falls out of the weeping clouds, watering the day with its sorrow.

See the difference? I dont want you to tell me how conformist NT's are, I want to see it in my mind for myself through your words. I want to feel what you are saying, not just merely reading it.
Poetry is the art of crafting words to create an image that evokes a response in the reader. This is what elevates a rant into an art form.
If you need some more instruction, feel free to PM me
