I don't know about anyone else, but I've found that there are certain songs that just seem to capture various aspects of the AS mindset (specifically mine) about the rest of society quit well.

The best I have are:

I Am - Dope
No Way Out - Dope
Easier - Dope
Another Day Goes By - Dope
Own Little World - Celldweller
The Best It's Gonna Get - Celldweller
Fake It - Seether
Epicentre - VNV Nation
Numb - Linkin Park
What I Am - F5
I'm Still Here - The Goo Goo Dolls

Quite a few of them are linked to my long period of depression back in 2007, a couple of years before I was ever properly diagnosed with AS. During that time, I harbored a lot of anger and resentment towards people and society in general as to why I didn't seem to really fit in anywhere, even within my own family.

The closet thing I can get to the Asperger's mindset is very underground music. I can't really understand or relate to mainstream music, but I can relate to music that's raw and unpolished, the subject matter of Freezing Moon is closer to me than "I wanna be a rock star".

I can think of two Metallica songs that seem to kind of fit with AS
One~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WM8bTdBs-cw
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WElvEZj0Ltw

I might think of some more song latter.

I would have to say the Touhou Project song, Bad Apple!! ! would accurately describe Asperger's, although it is meant to be about a hikikomori. Find a subbed version of the song, and you'll see what I mean.

Personally, these songs are ones Ive related with my experiences as an Aspie:

Nightmare - Avenged Sevenfold

I Will Not Bow - Breaking Benjamin

Welcome Home (Sanitarium) - Metallica

And more along the lines of my family's misuse of my "condition":

All Within My Hands - Metallica

All Great songs :D

mostly i just love happy music. music sans lyrics/vocalists, just various talented folk making their instruments sing for them. but there are [singing] songs which talk to this particular aspie, and they are:

people are strange [the doors]
once i was [tim buckley]
solveig's song [sung in the original tongue by various singers]
touch me [the doors]
true love [sung by patsy cline]
if i loved you [sung by frank sinatra]
if i fell in love [sung by sandra dee]
macarthur park [richard harrris]
fool on the hill [the beatles]
eleanor rigby [the beatles]

too many others to list here
