No thanks iam a live and let live sort of guy. Making a new language could have the affect of being elitist and snobby. :-( I prefer clear and direct sounds not some new sillness there is all ready too many languages in the world I think.

Wouldn't you run out of possible words very, very quickly?

I made up my own language, and in the world there are only 3 speakers. We can talk exactally how we want and we have our own words for long things we often say. I also sign BSL, and like writing my number in different bases (base 11 is a current favorrite 1A become 12 :D) AA = 22 1AA = 23 AAA = 33

It is useful because i can factorise the number in my head if i do this.

We also have a sytem of clicks which comunicate how we feel, although we never agreed on a sytem it just kindove happened.

It sounds cool, but I agree that we would run out of words pretty fast if we could only have 4 letter words.

Lol, I think we already do speak our own language. When I'm talking to NTs I confuse them all the time - it's normal for me to have repeat/rephrase things at least a couple of times and sometimes they'll still walk away shaking their heads. I know several probable aspies IRL and I don't have any trouble conversing with them, they follow what I'm saying perfectly. My sister's boyfriend is one of them and we have whole conversations with each other where NTs are looking at us like we're speaking some other language. My NT sister is actually bilingual - she 'translates' for me when other people aren't getting what I'm trying to say.

I'm not sure what you're talking about... The aspie language I was talking about? It's not something I do on purpose (because you're right about the freak thing), it kinda happens on its own. When I'm talking I tend to come from weird angles or whatever and it's hard for nt's to follow what I'm saying - I guess my train of thought is just different from theirs. Unfortunately that's just the normal way I talk though, it's not a language I made up on purpose.

Not if it was a pitch modulated language like Chinese or Thai.

I can't imagine why you people want to alienate yourselves further. Are you really happy this way? I sure as hell wasn't.

And aren't we supposed to be pedantic jerks? I sure as hell was.

Omblegota expressa with cheese

Translates..

When I was young I made a language of my own, I still speak it.. It's jiberish but it can sound real, especially if singing in it. Ever try to sing opra in this made up language of yours?
