Who else loves Blind Melon? They are helping me through quite a rough time right now. That's not what I want to talk about though. Blind Melon is an incredible band who is so underrated I am just baffled by the fact that so little people know about Blind Melon, except for their popular song "No Rain". Here's one great one of so many... Anyone else who enjoys Blind Melon and Shannon Hoon post here... Get others hip to one incredible and overlooked band. RIP Shannon Hoon...

Remember the bee girl from the No Rain video? I learned from Wikipedia we were born on the same day in the same year.

It sucks nobody knows these guys. As I read in some comments on YT, these guys are one of the best bands that nobody knows about. Here's another good song... Not live this time.

i've listened to blind melon a lot when i discovered them in '95. watched their woodstock performance. tried to get my friends to listen, no success. a great band, the vocals is really good. haven't listened to them in a long time. will revisit the band/records soon, not tonight though as i have myself a vinyl only evening.

I wanted to enjoy Blind Melon but I just haven't been hooked...their lyrics and sound is quite talented.

I agree, Blind Melon was one of my favorite bands when I was in high school. I always thought No Rain was the least interesting song on that self-titled album, and it's such a shame that they are basically only known for that song. I loved the song Sleepyhouse. They are definitely underappreciated, unfortunately relegated to 'one-hit wonder' status but they deserved so much better.
