I'm teaching myself piano playing with a method book. I played trumpet, and only trumpet, so I'm only used to the notes in treble notation. How long does it take to adjust to bass? I was told it comes to you in a month or so, but I'm still getting tripped up.

I've been playing piano for four years, and I still can't read bass well.

Good luck, though. :D

I'd say search around for hints (such as mnemonic devices) that may help it click.

Maybe something there will help; I'm currently trying to memorize it myself.
