The point of the thread is pretty self-explanatory: post a piece of music you like from the year you were born. I'm guessing there will be quite a few 80s and 90s songs represented.

Hmm, interesting. I hadn't thought of the idea of what was actually #1 when I was born...

I looked it up, and apparently, for me, it was Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings". OMG, it's so 80s! :lol:

I wasn't sure what year songs were out when I was born so I searched my music collection for 1982; some of the folders have the CD year in the name
