I don't draw terribly often these days, but I did make this a couple of months ago.

I know, not very creative of me but my art is usually surreal or patterns drawn on graph paper. I need to get myself some more graph paper, come to think of it.

Looks like a detail closeup of a giant fingerprint. :D

I don't know if you're old enough to remember them, but when I was a kid, there was a toy art kit marketed called 'Spirograph' that had bunches of little plastic wheels that fit inside frames and when you put a pen through the holes in the wheel and rolled them around like gears, it made all sorts of psychedelic patterns on the paper underneath. Very cool toy.

I just looked and there's still a version available! I thought that toy had disappeared ages ago. :P


I loved those things as a kid. They made pattern-making so easy and were super fun to use. I've also used a paint version where the base spins.
