8) I am an autodidact musician with perfect pitch. Guitar and bass came easy when I was younger and I love it.

I currently have a wonderful Epiphone Les and Fender acoustic. What are you equipped with?

Hello,

A few years ago I pass a lots of time playing electric guitar (learned song by ear).
I learn jazz theory, I can read chord on fake book partitions.
Now I do my own songs, but none of them are finished yet.

I also played bass in 3 bands in club, on bass I'm more into blues.

This fall I want to start an acoustic project with a female singer, my own songs and
making some covers of Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Blur, Bjork, Nirvana
but kinda like (Ani DiFranco, Tea Party, Jenifer Aubry, Marie-Jo Therio)

Bye !

Started in 4th grade, still play. Learned by reading a book religeously and picked it up fairly easily.

I've been playing for like two years. Not very good at it, but I enjoy it.

i play mainly bass, and i'm great at it.

I play guitar as well, but not really great at it. I am pretty good playing chords, nothing fancy. I still need plenty practice and a bit of help with guitar, but I'm happy with what I can do. I do happen to own a Gibson SG.

I play guitar and bass. Self-taught for the most part, playing sporadically over a period of about 35 years.

Right now I have an Ibanez RG guitar and a Schechter Diamond 5-string bass, and want to get a decent classical guitar as well.

I'm also self-taught with bass. I learned the guitar chords on my own as well.

I play both an electric and acoustic guitar but I prefer my electric. Mine is a Gibson SG.

I own a Fender Acoustic, and have been around Guitars my entire life. I know chords but don't play often enough to be very good. I love the sounds of the Gibson SG by the way, if I had the money for an electric, that would definitely be one I'd consider.

Yetanotherguitarist here. Been playing since I was born, life before I picked up a guitar doesn't count.....

I mainly play flamenco on a 1998 Burguet 3f that I'm holding as I type. Played solo at a couple of small outdoor festivals recently. I don't get very nervous at playing the guitar in public, but speaking to people still terrifies me.

Also have a Fender Strat - cherry red, modern Mexican style. I play rhythm guitar in a Banghra/Hindi songs band. My style is a self-taught mix of rock/funk/indie/. I'm looking to form a sort of Latin/Cuban/Flamenco/Funk crossover to take advantage of this but I'm having trouble finding good enough musicians to work with.

Yeah, I love guitar and could quite easily play for 10 hours a day. It is my current obsession. Even after 25 years of playing, I still love it. I've even thought of maybe teaching, but I worry that my personality strangeness may deter students and that I don't have the patience to put up with them.

BTW I don't think AS has given me any particular musical gifts. What it may have given me is perseverance at something I enjoy.
