i am still kind of dazed from it all. on tuesday night (well, wednesday morning) i woke up at about 3am, checked the time on my phone and saw a text from my friend telling me about tickets going on sale at 9am for a video shoot. i was half asleep and wasn't sure what it was about but i set my alarm and got up early to get a ticket (they sold out in minutes, of course). the band was my chemical romance, shooting 'planetary (go!)', it was basically a small concert in o2 academy islington, only about 500 people.. a big change from normal because they only really do arenas now. i got there and was actually picked out and filmed by the director, i had to sign a release and have my picture taken too. it was insane, i don't know how many other people were picked out but i don't think it was too many.. i wonder if i will make the final cut
the show was so electric, i was right at the front. they were so close and it was so personal. they played a few songs and then the single was played 6 times while they filmed the crowd dancing on five cameras, and handed out props, balloons and confetti. i went on my own, as i usually do, but it was so lucky i even got to go. this band is honestly so ridiculously important to me and i can't believe i was part of that.
i almost couldn't get there because my bus broke down and i missed my coach and i didn't know if i would make it to london. in the end we had to (unfairly) pay an extra fare to get the next coach, even though obviously the bus breaking down was not my fault. but whatever, it was worth it
i just had to get that out. i want to cry with happiness, wow wow wow
:')
Good for you, but I think there's something ludicrously ironic about this whole post.
