I got out my tablet today, but I was quickly reminded how I never learned how to properly use it. With my current level of motivation, it was at least five minutes before I put it back up.

Anyone else have a problem drawing what they want to draw? I can draw art just to draw, but if I want to draw something serious that seems a bit impossible these days.

are you referring to a graphics tablet or a tablet computer?

A graphics tablet.

And to answer your question, I have problems drawing what I want because I don't have a wacom tablet or a proper mouse. Also, I suck at perspectives and shadowing and usually need a reference for drawing. I'm hoping to try to get good at drawing over the summer and throughout college. I learn quite quickly. I taught myself how to play the piano and how to write fiction, drawing shouldn't be so hard.
