Children and teen horror novels
Do you like children/teen horror stories? I recently am rereading the stories I used to borrow from libraries as a teen: the Shadow Zone and Fear Street. My favorite Shadow Zone story is the one about a boy meeting a computer game warrior, Thor. I am a big fan of the one on the ghost from the Chicken Liver Hill as well. I just discovered that two stories from this series weren't published in my country. I started to read them at the age of 15 so when one in theory should start to get a little bit too old for this series but I really enjoyed them a lot. I liked the Fear Street stories too - I used to read them in elementary school and the high one too, I think. Somewhere in high school I started to read also the preteen stories belonging to the Graveyard School series. I was way too old for them but before, they weren't published in Poland. They were too childish for my taste but really nice. I never had the opportunity to read the Goosebumps booklets, though - for years I thought it's just the TV show, it was later when I discovered that they were published in the book form too (in my country only a few of them were published).
Do you like teen horrors?
I haven't read any children's horror book since I was in elementary school. The books I read were one of Peg Kehret's Nightmare series and her book Horror at the Haunted House. Another book that I read was The Ghost of Fossil Glen, which was by a separate author.
