which extreme sax do you prefer? extreme top or bottom?
i prefer the BBb contrabass sax, that is heaven on earth! 17%  17%  [ 1 ]
i prefer the soprillo, that is divine! 50%  50%  [ 3 ]
i'd much prefer anything in between those two extremes! 0%  0%  [ 0 ]
i'd rather have me a nice yummy icecream! 33%  33%  [ 2 ]

my, that humongous thing is a MONSTER! and that little soprillo is a pipsqueak!
do you prefer the soprillo [top] saxophone, or the BBb contrabass [bottom] saxophone? i know which one i like.

ironic you should say "funny sounding" in that the ordinary bass saxophone that adolphe sax invented in the middle 1800s, was meant as direct orchestral competition to the bassoon, which was and is considered "the comedian of the orchestra."
