I can't help it! They're so emotive, so strong! I love singing them! Songs from musicals are pretty much my favourite genre at the moment! I particularly enjoy Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's music and the entire score from Les Miserables! Does anyone else share my love of musicals?

(you never know, I might get brave enough to post myself singing some of my favourite songs on Youtube!)

Are you talking about stage musicals or movie musicals?

I very much like that kind of music, just the intensity alone does it for me.

On a personal level, stage, but it can be about movies too :)

Although having said that, two of my favourites; Phantom of the Opera and Evita, are both!

Well, I like the song Memory from Cats.

As for movie musicals, I like most Disney ones as well as The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, and Anastasia.

I enjoy musicals. As for specific songs, "Defying Gravity" from Wicked was the first to come to mind. It still gives me chills when I hear it. I saw Wicked performed on stage a few years ago, and consider it the best musical I've seen so far (live or filmed).

Here's a clip of the scene that was performed during the Tony Awards a few years ago, in case you're not familiar with it. It's the best version I've seen from YouTube.

Yeah we sang Defying gravity at our choir! I love it! I sing Memory sometimes too but that's my hobby rather than a choir song!
