Lou Reed is using Metallica as his backing band on his new album.

My first thought was 'WTF?' and then, 'oh wait, it's Lou, nothing he does should surprise me.'

What do Metallica fans think about this? I ask because I'm not one myself. :P

I saw him last year when he was doing that live Metal Machine Music thing. He's the master of pyssyng people off, but even I wouldn't listen to him playing with Metallica.

True. It's not Lou Reed unless someone's pyssed off.

I'm going to see him next Friday (it's a fairly recent special interest of mine). I kind of want to be pyssed off.

I have recently.

I've liked the VU since I was 15, but I've only recently got into the solo careers.
