What were your favourite albums when you were 13?

Plus various film soundtracks, mostly cheesy ones, and Now compilations. And mix tapes of the top 40 religiously recorded every week.

i used to buy singles more than albums back then. or compilation albums. only so far my pocket money would stretch

I bought Take On Me for 49p from Morrisons in Preston. Ah... the glory days.

All Saints by All Saints. I can only remember one song from them
Christina Aguilera's album through repeated forced listening
The Writing's on the Wall by Destiny's Child (Say My Name is also one one of my all-time favorite songs)

Never Say Never by Brandy, after whom I named my parakeet <-- The Boy is Mine

Overall a kind of embarrassing and very estrogeny list.

The ones I played over again were all my ABBA ones I still have the original albums as well as CD's of them.
