I guess this is my latest 'obsession'.... albeit I've always wanted to play an instrument.
A classmate in college mentioned that there was a very basic, easy to learn flute instruments called Irish Whistles (tin whistles,clarke whistles, etc...same name for the same thing) and that bamboo flutes were also fairly easy to learn once you got the hang of the whistle.
So, without knowing anything about music.. i've ordered my flutes ^^ .

Anyone who plays these mind giving me any advice or perhaps links to books that can teach the basics (keeping in mind I have no clue how to read music!)?
