"Timothy, please have a seat."
The boy was nervous and pale. He had the look of all those before him. He wanted to deny reality, he was going over in his mind all the things he should have done.

"We have reviewed your grades I am sorry but you have a GPA of under 1.8. You will be scheduled for extermination. You have failed to meet the necessary requirements. We do not find this an enjoyable procedure..."

"Then why go through with it?"

The administrator paused looking at the boy;
"Because it's necessary."

"There could be some kind of mistake." Timothy said

"We have triple checked all your files, I assure you there is no mistake."

"But I didn't know I'd be killed!"

"The teachers stressed to you that getting good grades was of the utmost importance. One of your teachers even told you personally that your life depended on you getting good grades and yet you continued to fail."

"I thought he was speaking metaphorically! Why can't you just tell the students beforehand! They won't fail if they know they'll be killed for it!"

"If word ever got out what we did here in the administration building, students would go through any means necessary to pass - even cheating - and we can't have that."
