While playing around I wrote this:

I go away from this place with THY lance and shield,
and upon THY steed venture forth into a realm of darkness
to vanquish THY enemy from a throne it wills.
That in performing such an act those noble and rich in possessions
may at once give heed, to mere fact that upon their simple jests
it was I, alone, who proceeded to enter into such a courageous plot.
And yet t'was not for any mere prize, or reward, or fame,
but to simply affect longer life upon THY offspring.

I think the hardest part in writing these words is trying to find a kind of rhythm that Shakespeare infused in his works. Regardless, this was fun all the same. :)

Does anyone wish to share any short Shakespearean styled writings they've composed?
