Here are the rules. yeah, this sounds like a competition but since we don't have anyone to compete with we're just rapping our own, creative rap contribution.

(obviously, no explicit swearing or put downs pertaining to any reactions)

1. The first person--me that is--has to rhyme in any way shape or form, haiku, short story poetry, just plain poetry, and it has to say a lot about a subject that really is relevant to anything that is a colorful concept in life--love, nature, friendship, spiritual ideals, or emotions that really touch the human spirit. Be creative as you can and make the poem your own, but not just something about you. Sorry to be so direct but this is part of the big deal of the game.

2. The next person can make a poem somewhat similar in topic, but once again it has to rhyme, have a little rhythm (they all have to be like this anyway) but in a way it also has to work in another interesting topic, so that topics themselves weave in and out of the thread.

Don't bother to compare or critique yourself. Have fun!

DREAMS AND REALITIES

I may not be the direct one to fall out of bed
But my conscience did and my dream truly said
To make me realize my wrongs and rights
It could be fight or flight
But in this day and age don't be afraid to fight
Keep your game tight
Until I thought to myself
The real point of this between hostility and bliss
Is to
consciously release yourself
be the space
It only proves that you've got the wealth
To conquer your fears
Take away the inner tears
Because reality to some is like an ego trip
Don't agree with the lies that they hear.

I'm wondering' in my bed
It's irking in my sleep
Your frustration, do it stop?
That anger, man it whirl
No fascination to this girl
Down the drain it swirl

Ryhymes need to be shorter if thread is to take off. Try single sentences.

Downstream the teeming terse whispers wound
