All but one of the members of The Cruxshadows attended college in the town I live in (Tallahassee), and from what I've read they pretty much live in Tallahassee when they're not on tour.
Even more interestingly, I hear their lead singer Rogue graduated from my high school.
I just find that really amazing.

who? hey brah have you ever been to st. augustine? once on a tv show about ghosts, they had some ghost hunters go out there to the lighthouse and got some pretty sweet evidence of paranormal activity. anyways i've never heard of the group you are talking about. are they underground?

Yeah, and I've heard interesting ghost stories about it, but I don't see what that has to do with the topic.

In my town (especially at my school, since a lot of fans go there) they're pretty well known.
As for popularity, the recent article on them said they were bigger in Europe than in the US, which I find kind of interesting.

so sorry. i wasn't trying to turn your thread into something it's not. i just thought everyone loved a good ghost story so thats why i mentioned it. and if a band is popular in europe more than likely they won't cut it here. euro's have a completley different taste in music than the usa does.

How so?

Europe is where most of the top goth bands are--The Cruxshadows are an example of this. Zeromancer and Dimmu Borgir are others. (USA has NIN, yes, but since "With Teeth" their reputation's kinda gone downhill....)
