A Praise Poem I Wrote
This is partially a praise poem expressing my values and reverence for learning and also partially a small part of my constructed world (it is to be translated into my constructed language). Anyways, please tell me what you think, and thank you for your prompt response!
They culture us all, those noble sages, their wisdom so glorious as to shame the blossoming of an African Violet from the humble ground
O scholars, you are greatly praised!
They labor harder than ants in their quest for truth, the awesome liberation of a flower from stone that is its discovery is to them but their honorable duty to the people
O scholars, you are greatly praised!
Their love of learning awes the mouthbrooder's love of its children, thus o so reliably endowing civilization with magnificent progress
O scholars, you are greatly praised!
Their rational judgment causes the state to lend itself to their benevolent wills in mutualism so splendid termites and their mushrooms prostrate themselves before them
O scholars, you are greatly praised!
Their sempiternal brilliance gives the people and the state happiness from the harvests of their deeds, deeds wrought for all spheres of the civilized world to live on for sempiternity in the memory of all the righteous
O scholars, you are greatly praised!
