OK, so, I'm one of those types that if I'm interested in something that I just CANNOT do but want to, it irritates me to the point that no matter how angry I get I just keep coming back for more.
Blender is like my heroin now--I absolutely HATE, HATE, HATE Blender but I can't stop coming back!! ! ARGH!! !
There is a positive side to this: I want to make several Thomas Wilfred-inspired animations to accompany my music and I heard that Blender is powerful animation software...even better, it's FREE. So I thought I'd check it out. It's taken me forever how to learn how to do just a few things, but I'm getting the hang of it just enough to suit my purposes. So here's a test animation (just 1 minute) that is in line with where I'm going with making animations. I've never been a visual artist, always sucked at it when I tried, but when I saw the Thomas Wilfred lumia works, I though: Hmm, now THAT I could do... So, for your enjoyment (or amusement):
