Post your top five favorite music genres, and a song from each that you think best represents that genre. The genres don't have to be in any particular order by favorite or anything. Also, post links to, or videos of, the songs you choose so others don't have to search for them if they're curious.

Mine:

Post-Grunge: Hinder - All American Nightmare
Nu Metal: Linkin Park - Papercut
Aggrotech: The Retrosic - Desperate Youth
Electronic Rock: Celldweller - Switchback
Pop-Punk: Blink 182 - All The Small Things

I don't know, it's tough to really pick favorites, but let's see.

1 Eurodance - Culture Beat - Take Me Away
2 Eurobeat - Jilly - Be My Babe
3 Japanese Pop - Dream - My Will
4 Japanese Rock - Kyosuke Himuro - Kiss Me
5 Happy Hardcore - Frisco - Sea of Love

As you can see, pretty much all my music choices are foreign. Oh well. For eurodance and eurobeat, I don't really know which one to put for top. They're both similar genres, just both really different, too, like, eurodance tends to have more variety in sound, but I like eurobeat better, but eurobeat songs tend to sound kinda similar to each other. For the Japanese music, the J-Rock song is more pop rock, I tend to like Japanese poppy rock better than like....X Japan or something. Then for happy hardcore, some songs in that genre are simply marvelous songs, like the one I posted, and others are completely abysmal and lame. Happy hardcore is sorta marketed the same way as eurobeat is, but with slightly more "free market" to it than eurobeat. All of it comes out on happy hardcore compilation CDs. Apparently Brits like happy hardcore, but not too many people in America like it for some reason. Oh well. So there's my completely unpatriotic musical taste. Yay.

I don't really have a favourite musical genre, i tend to keep an open mind to metal, classic rock, alternative and some grunge in between, but that's really about it....
