So many to choose, but my number one is Danny Elfman from Oingo Boingo. He is all that is perfect in a weirdo, I love it!! Favorite Oingo Boingo song: No One Lives Forever.

Some of my other favorite singers from the 80s would be mostly underground at the time like Darby Crash - The Germs, Greg Graffin - Bad Religion, Joey Ramone - The Ramones, but I also loved other more mainstream artists like Robert Smith, Michael Jackson, and yes, Weird Al Yankovic!

My favourite singer of this decade, and of all time, is George Michael.

Beside him, I am very fond of Boy George, Limahl from Kajagoogoo, and Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet.

Oh, and Corey Glover from Living Colour, but while they started in the 80s, they had their shining moment in the early nineties. Excellent rock singer. Saw him live, too.

Debbie Harry is one of my favorite '80s singers. My collection doesn't feature many female vocals, but I have some of her records. The rather obscure 1983 movie 'Rock and Rule' is what introduced me to her singing, hence my avatar.

She's not a bad rapper, either. I love her song "Rapture".
