Anybody here a fan of psytrance music? I spend all my time listening to it, and I've been to multiple psytrance events, danced for hours and hours to it. It's more than music to me, it's a lifestyle. I really like darkpsy and progressive psytrance at the moment. Here's an awesome mix I've found!

I love this mix!

now I need to find some psytrance mixes to put on my ipod!

I listen to lots of dance and electronica (Acid House, Breakbeat, Hardcore, Jungle, Trance, Drum N Bass, Dubstep etc.) but I haven't really listened psytrance before. Thanks for introducing me to this amazing genre

No problem! I love psytrance, it's one of my favourite genres ever; I've been listening to it since I was 8.

That is possibly the worst thing that I have ever heard.
Most of the songs last 7 minutes and have no purposes or story.
The music creates no emotional connection. It's just horrible noise.

The point of Psytrance isn't to inspire emotion, or tell a story; it's to let your mind go -- let it travel, prefferably while on some hallucinogen.

I pretty much feel the same way about anything that ISN'T f*****g psytrance, drum & bass, hardcore or metal tbh. If I want to have my brain annihilated by the most emotionless and idiotic crap-noise the best thing I might do then is just turn on my local television or radio. They always bring the worst of the worst. No contest. :roll:

i have sympathies with both sides

used to listen to it all the time now i cant listen to it at all.
