My apologies if this has already been created, but I didn't see it.

Does anyone else like this type of music? Examples are VNV Nation, Covenant, Assemblage 23, Funker Vogt, Grendal, Neuroticfish, Unter Null, Wumpscut, Velvet Acid Christ, God Module, Imperative Reaction, ect...

If so, what are some of your favorites?

I absolutely love EBM. I don't follow a lot of artists specifically.

Usually, if I am working in the yard, I listen to darkhorizonsradio podcast.
They have all those bands and then some. I have no affiliation with them. :) It just happens to be the music podcast that has never been removed from my list.

To answer your question... VNV Nation is at the top of my list. I like Unheilig, Combiechrist, Blutengle. I also lean more melodic with Wolfsheim/Peter Heppner, Peter Murphy, Felix Marc, Sisters of Mercy, etc.

And even though I am not big fan, I propose Alien Sex Fiend's "Another Planet" as the theme song for this web site.

live365.com is where I find most of my music, as well as a gothic nightclub in my city. Deine Lakaien is probably my favorite but they don't really fit into the EBM or industrial genre. I also like BlutEngel and more ethereal sounding artists like Hannah Fury. Helium Vola is also beautiful.

I like live365.com a lot because it has SO many different genres as well as many different stations in any specific genre.

I have never heard that song by Alien Sex Fiend. I'll have to listen to it. :]

Yet another industrial styled band some people may have never heard of. I think there are some similarities to Combichrists stuff with theirs though. Not specifically with this song ill post but with others.

Band is called Still Life Decay, and they are actually pretty much local for me. They tour/toured often with fear factory and such.

I listen to it every day. Some of my favorites are God Module, Grendel, Dawn of Ashes (before they changed their style), Suicide Commando, X-Fusion, and X-RX.

I'm a big fan of Industrial, This is the first time I've heard of the term "EBM" though.
I've never really been on top of any music scene. I'm probably missing out on a lot of good stuff out there.
I usually just find a couple bands I like and stick with that.

I looked up a few of the bands listed here, and I like what I've heard.

Some industrial bands I like are:
Skinny Puppy
Front Line Assembly
Front 242

I'm gonna have to keep an eye on this thread for ideas for music to buy when I have the money.
I know there are other ways to obtain music, but I prefer to support artists I like, especially if I can buy music direct from the artist.

Aesthetic Perfection
Razed in Black
Kriminal Minds
Nine Inch Nails
Skold
Lords of Acid

I'm not as big on EBM as a bunch of people here, but Front-242 were very good. Much of what I dig is early stuff, but not all:

Vampire Rodents
Einstürzende Neubauten (mostly the first four albums and early singles)
Current 93 (mostly early, tape-loops-and-chanting era)
Throbbing Gristle
Maurizio Bianchi (particularly his more dark ambient stuff so far, like Mectpyo bakterium)
Coil (especially early stuff, but some later stuff as well)
Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (first two albums)
Maybe Mental
Ministry (early - second-to-fourth albums)
Numb
Nurse With Wound (80s)
P16. D4
SPK
Esplendor Geométrico
Factrix
Foetus (first four albums or so)
Laibach (Rekapitulacija 1980-84, s/t, Nova akropola)
Test Dept.
:zoviet*france:
23 Skidoo
Cabaret Voltaire (mostly up to Red Mecca)
Clock DVA (80s)
Controlled Bleeding

I like it, though all these might not technically be industrial but from my understanding they are but I like
Psyclon Nine
Dope Stars Inc.
Jesus On Extasy
Deadstar Assembly

and yeah stuff like that.

I listen to Lords Of Acid from time to time, usually when I am in some way tripping. That's about it aside from a few Industrial metal bands

Not sure if I actually like typical EBM but I like these tracks:

Anyone listened to The Klinik? They have always had a special place in my heart. And in my ears too.

Wow, a lot of my favorite bands have been mentioned in this thread. I love EBM/Aggrotech... and I think it's because it is repetitive. I just can't handle screechy guitar music, it drives me batsh*t insane.
