Anyone here enjoys opera music? Not actually listening to it on CD or IPOD, but going to one? Is it too loud for you? Or do the crowds bother you?

I LOVE it. Sometimes the crowds are too much, during admission and intermission, but the rest of it makes up for that. I've been really lucky to go to the Met on several occasions.

Haven't been for many years but I loved going to the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden.
The "crush bar" there is well named, but it's the only place I can think of where crowds/crushes didn't worry me.
