letting music do the talking

This is something probably really obscure and out of left field..but..here goes. See, I often fantasize, about playing a song, or hearing one...and pretending to turn it up loud..so all the girls..wherever they are.. can listen..without disturbing anyone else. And as they do so, if they enjoy it, I might get their attention..as if I'm saying "hello, I'm not that good at the speaking thing..but here is this tune I like..and if you feel the same, will you like me, or hang out with me, and see what happens?" That scene in the movie "Say Anything" comes to mind, with John Cusack's character holding up his boom box outside his sweetie's house.
I seem to enjoy alot of music that females do..so in my fantasy world..that part of it might work..or might be a complete turn off..who knows..

You could be onto something there. As a female, I guess I don't really think about romance, since I know I'll just irritate the person away...... But if they like the same things, they might talk to me and start the conversation (that's the worst bit).

People like having songs dedicated to them. Why do you think the most memorable ones for many are ones they related to at some point?
