It's a book I read in high school(not an assignment, I just found it in the library). It was written by Monica Hughes. I read it only once, and I love it. It's so...capturing. I love the character Olwen. I feel a bit of envy for her sometimes, although also a bit sorry when the colonists land. I think it captures humanity as it really is. As Olwen tells the captain, he's right in that she is not human anymore because she does not kill. Later in the series, though, I don't exactly get why Mark London did what he did. And just why were they upset about Olwen, anyway?

Has anyone else read this or anything else by Monica Hughes?
