The Who - Pictures of Lily Also from '66 about masterbation
Tom Robinson Band - Glad to Be Gay from 1977 Gives a pretty accurate description of the the general attitude of the society towards gays back then and in some ways towards autistics in 2016

Back in the late Forties, long before Bob Dylan wrote "Blowin' in the Wind", and John Lennon wrote "Give Peace a Chance" Louis Jordan recorded this plea for peace, and understanding! And in the process he also invented rap music a generation before the Sugar Hill Gang recorded "Rapper's Delight" in 1978.

Fanny was the first all female rock group to release an album on a major label. On this video Cher says "gracious, girls act like that"
Even today with all the diversity emphisis there are not to many pop songs dealing with both sides hating you for your mixed ethnicity or race. Yet Cher had a hit with this theme in 1973 with the song "Half Breed". This is very relatable to what many post about here of bieng called not autistic because the are too high functioning and at the same time feeling left out by auttistics that are milder then them.

Evidently this was ahead of its time since the media has exploded recently with evidence that its not that bad. I think it was pretty socially unacceptable in their day and age and it still is to a lesser extent.
