Agreed, it's a great show.
He does have a wife (& children).
He isn't actually playing 'himself' in Curb, more his 'ideal' self; his 'super-ego'.
He says ( and does) things that he wishes he could do in real life, but which societie's codes, conventions and niceties prevent him from doing.
(He mentions this in an interview with Ricky Gervais.)
It appears that he has no awareness of some social codes ( symptomatic of AS.)
However, my opinion is that Larry is only too aware of these social codes, and his superiority and feigned ignorance of them is used for comic effect.
I don't think he needs 'outing', he's an 'odd-ball' & freethinker; certainly a great inspiration, but AS - i don't think so.
I have heard they are shooting Series 6, to be aired sometime next year.
