I had started composing this song maybe 2 months ago before I even knew anything about asperger's syndrome. I would want to socialize with others but it just wouldn't work. So, I composed a song to try and show others how I feel... My NT friends just don't "ear" what I'm trying to say in the song. I don't think they've really felt the emotions that I'm trying to get across. So, if any Aspies can relate to this song, let me know. I'm pretty new at composing but I thought I'd give it a try since I LOVE music.

I have three other songs right now but the song entitled "Try to Listen" is the main one that I would like to receive comments on.

(Best if played through headphones at a relatively high volume.)

That was a truly beautiful piece of music. I could definetely feel what you were trying to portray. I know that isolated feeling all to well. Keep up the good work!

Thanks!

I'm glad that you understand what I was trying to do. A few of my NT friends want me to speed the tempo up and add lyrics to make it more of a pop soing. I wrote it to be a sad song for a reason but they're too busy imagining it their way instead of just listening to the song and taking in what I tried to do.

You should check out some of my other tracks. I'm pretty new to producing and I'm planning on studying it when I go to school this fall to learn a lot more about it.

Yeah...I'd disregard that advice too, as I can hear what you want to say in it!! !

I do think it's very expressive of what you intended. It's quite evocative and my first impression is that I'd expect to hear it as part of a movie soundtrack.
