Ok,ill start, ( surprise surprise my faveourite artist is Gary Numan, since findign out he too is an aspie i relate all the more to his lyric's of loneliness and isolation and feeling 'otherworldly'
I am also very into the Australian band 'The church' and the Solo output of their lead singer
steve Kilbey, who has a book of poetry out "earthed" wich i would love to get a copy of .......
if anyoen out there has one ,PM me please!

The lyrics are amazing, though the new albulm wasn't so good.

"Deftones"
Same with the lyrics and Chino Morenos voice is awesome.

I tend to like particular albums by particular artists. Bands evolve over the years and there's normally only one album per band which I really love. For example:

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
Compulsion - Comforter (the double CD version if you can find it)
Reverse - The Jersey Switch
The Beta Band - Heroes to Zeroes
Straw - Shoplifting
Ride - Going Blank Again
Spirit Caravan - Jug Fulla Sun

Venetian Snares. As for singers, uh, most of my music lacks vocals that aren't random samples or insane screaming.

I have quite a list...

DVDA
D12
The Wreckers
SHeDAISY
Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Cardigans
The Seatbelts
the pillows
Ayumi Hamasaki
MELL

Other than those, I like most JPOP, JROCK, anime OST's and I'm a huge fanboy of videogame music [Specifically Sonic and Donkey Kong Country].

I'm a fan of Mike Patton, I listened to FNM over and over, I saw Fantomas twice, once with the Melvins Big Band, I like Tomahawk too.

Devin have a very good drummer Gene Hoglan, I saw him with Almighty Punchdrunk and I listened to him a lots with Dark Angel.
