My voice range is B2 to D5. I am a contralto, although tenor suits me better( I can't be tenor because I'm female)
What is yours?

I'm around the Mezzo Soprano range, but I can sing Alto pretty well.

I don't know. All I know is that I can sing high and make the most high pitched shrieks, and I can also sing somewhat low.

When I was a choir singer back in elementary school, I had a tough time because they put me in the mezzo soprano part, which was lowest in the choir anyway. I strained my voice quite a bit.

talking about comfort; i am a low alto (which is strange; since i'm a 6'6" man), but i can extend my range from a low tenor up to the start of the mezzosporano range, comfort range goes from a D3 to a D5

alto is actually a female voice range. i think it goes like this from highest to lowest...
Soprano-Mezzo Soprano-Alto-Contralto(Females)
Countertenor-Tenor-Baritone-Bass.(Males, after their voices break)
I think my complete range ranges from Mezzo Soprano to Baritone

in mezzo soprano and baritone i have to strain a bit, and it's not good for my voice.

G3 to E5.
I can get down to F3 and up to G5 with a bit of effort.
