If a band was a person how far would it be on the spectrum.

Examples.

Pink Floyd, started by a probable aspie, one of it's major albums was written about that aspie going crazy, and the bands topics are generally social introspective with songs like us and them etc.

Tool, I mean if I even need to explain this you've never heard them.

Rush, again the worlds most popular band of strangeness.

Black sabbath, just all around strange topics in their songs, combined, with a writing style that is highly repetitive and novel based around a penatonic blue scale.

Radiohead, again just one strange band, with songs like creep being their calling card it's no wonder.

Bands that are not likely,

GunnRoses, little novelty in their writing style, lack of obsessiveness, or other asocial qualities, however honorable mention goes to the self absorption of their lead singer.

P.S. don't take this to seriously for the love of god.

Don't know about bands, but I've always wondered if Tony Banks of Genesis isn't a tiny bit on the spectrum, from what I've read about him and the kind of off-in-his-own-world music he does as a solo artist.

I'm going to go into one of my rants regarding my "Aspie obsessions" so maybe just ignore everything I'm saying if you want.

Yellow Magic Orchestra. For me, Yellow Magic Orchestra I find one of the like, most relateable bands for me. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it's like, their sorta dystopian outlook in their music, which much is about modern technology and how it's changing the world. Just the sound alone, is... But the lyrics, too. Anyway, my username is a YMO song. I just feel I can empathize with the music a lot for some reason.

YMO - Technopolis
YMO - Behind the Mask
YMO - 1000 Knives
Yellow Magic Orchestra - Mad Pierrot
YMO - Citizens of Sciencehttp://www.tunewiki.com/lyrics/yellow-magic-orchestra/citizens-of-science
YMO - Seoul Music
YMO - Radio Junk

I dunno, I've not met anyone else that feels as strongly for YMO as me. I don't know what their psychiatric diagnosis are really. Ryuichi Sakamoto just makes amazing music, though, the whole group has weird stuff, though.
Akiko Yano - Rose Garden

This song was made by Sakamoto's wife. Yep. I like lots of different types of music, but as far as favorite band, YMO is on top.

When the point that it isn't the whole band, but simply that the music could likely of been written by someone with aspergers.

Genesis is as aspie as you get. My aspie buddy is totally obsessed with the.
