Name your favourite movie composer. Any nationality you want. If we don´t know him/her, give us a link or name to something that they have done (or DID, if they are already dead).

Mine is James Newton Howard.

Sam Cardon wrote the score for "Lewis & Clark: The Great Journey West" for Imax. The score is absolutely stunning. The lush orchestration and sweeping themes such as good as any romantic symphony. I also like Alexandre Desplat, Patrick Doyle and Eliot Goldenthal.

I particularly like Jon Brion's work in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Vangelis' work in Blade Runner, Michael Andrew's Donnie Darko Soundtrack, Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings music and though it's not a movie...Garry Schyman's Bioshock video game soundtrack. Cohen's Masterpiece is still looped in my head, ha.

For me, it's a tie between John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

^ I do like the cover of Dead Souls from The Crow. In fact, I'm going to listen to it now.

I also will say my favorite is John Williams. The music from Star Wars and Jurassic Park gives me goosebumps :)
