Ok besides the Bible, I like Pendragon Adventure, Lord of the Rings, The Librarian, Legend of Drizzt, Artemis Fowl, etc.
Does anyone else like these?

*Does anyone else know of similar series to the Pendragon Adventure written by D.J. MacHale,( I like intellectual time travel adventure twists). Im an audio learner so if you list something please make sure its available in audiobook or playaway format.*

List your favorite series as well :)

I recently finished listening to the His Dark Materials trilogy read by the Author, Phillip Pulman. It was very good, and very enjoyable to listen to.

I can't say I like any of the ones you have mentioned.

I also like audio books....but I love reading books as well. I liked the Legend of Drizzt a lot. R.A. Salvatore is awesome. The other series I like by him is The First King series starting with The Highwayman. Lord of The Rings was okay-it was a brilliant work of fantasy-the world and the characters were wonderful and a lot of other fantasy novels wouldn't exist without that series- a lot of characters and worlds are similar to it/based on it in part-so it was a "pioneer" series. Still I didn't enjoy reading it as much as some others because it was too draggy/slow and too much physical description of scenery and not enough action and character interaction for my taste. I haven't read any of the others you mentioned but will check out the Pendragon Adventure..........that sounds interesting to me. Here are some of my favourites:

1) Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling
2) A Wrinkle in Time series by Madeleine L'Engle
3)Eragon from the Inheritence Cycle by Christopher Paolini
4) The Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
5) The Legend of Drizzt by R.A. Salvatore
6) The Kingkiller Chronicles starting with The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
7) the first 2 of The Gormenghast Novels by Mervyn Peake

*All these books are available in audio-book version.

The Dresden Files for me. The books are awesome, and being read by James Marsters makes them even more awesome.
