Who cares? OTOH, at least she's not a total whore like Paris Hilton.

I like a few of her songs. "Alejandro," "Edge of Glory," "Bad Romance," "Schiesse," I think that's about it. I don't feel strongly one way or the other for her, as far as radio 2011 pop music goes, she's more listenable than other people, but compared to what I generally listen to, she's not great or anything.

As far as how I feel about her personally, I think she's actually a very smart intelligent girl. She actually can really sing, and used to sing like, jazz kind of lounge music, and sang in a rock band, too. However, she wanted to be famous and make money, and for now, sold her soul, or at least part of it to do it. I hope she comes back around soon, and comes back to God, and I see in her music she realizes the implications of what she's done with "Judas" and "Black Jesus" but uh, I don't know if she wants to give it up yet, or if she's even able to anymore, her path might be irreversible.

That's how she used to be, btw, it'll surpise a lot of people.

I consider myself a Lady Gaga fan. I enjoy (most) of her music, and I appreciate her activism on behalf of LGBT rights, as well as the fact that she took the time to write the self-affirming song aimed at LGBT youth Born This Way.

As for the other question about Lady Gaga and makeup, I would like to see her more often out of costume.

I like her. Love would be too strong of a word.
A lot of her music isn't my kind of thing, though I really did like Judas, and in particular, liked the video.
I must say, I do like how she has taken up the LGBT cause, particularly since my wife is bisexual.
Her obvious intelligence and education is also a big selling point for me, as is her legitimate musical talent.
The fact that she's physically HOT, and wears costumes that flaunt what she's got is a plus, too.

I think she's pretty without all that make-up, but otherwise what I feel about her is mostly indifference - no love or hate.

I'm a big Gaga fan.

Musically and as a performer she obviously has talent to have gotten as far (even prior to Lets Dance, what she achieved was impressive), her music is an example of good electro-pop and she also injects her influences, but these influences tend to be subtle - yes, I include Madonna in that, the longer you listen to songs that start off criticised as copies of Madonna you find there's a lot more depth that makes the songs her own...being influenced by those who came before you is no sin. She manages to produce better and better music, with continuing themes yet without all sounding the same, which is hard to do.

Gaga is honest with her shock-value and plays with it rather than using it as some sort of vulgarity - she also somehow manages to remain to seem genuine despite the fact no one knows a damn thing about her - she is a persona, the way she works the media to hide her true self while remaining genuine is brilliant. Then look at her business mind, her ability to use the media - nothing you hear about her will not be planned, will not be handled - even the the media turn on her she somehow manages to hold it together. Culturally you're looking at one of the biggest influences in culture in our lifetime, she's given more to popular culture and fashion than any other pop star within the past few decades, but not just that she make social cometary too. She's then used this influence to not only build herself a business and build on her own image and fame, but also to help others through worthy activism.

Personally - she's not a person, she's a persona. I don't understand how anyone could talk about her like a person when she spends all her time hiding that side of her and feeding you a persona that feeds of cultural reaction.

Actually I'm pretty indifferent towards her. I find her fans rather annoying though. They seem to think I HAVE to have an opinion about her one way or another....

Not exactly a fan but I do think she is a tremendous vocal and performing talent. I do like the music video for Bad Romance. The only thing off about her to me is I think she really hasn't reached her potential musically. She like a strange upgrade of Kylie Minogue.

I think Goldfrapp has the edge over Lady Gaga. Alison Goldfrapp is a good singer in her own right but what sets Goldfrapp apart is having a really strong composer talent like Will Gregory. I think that is what is missing from the Lady Gaga act is a better composer and more live band members.

I enjoy most of her songs, although I think some of them come across as a bit monotonous if you over listen to them, (which is very easy to do). Sometimes I listen to 'Born This Way' and pretend it's about the autistics.

I don't care what she looks like. Some of her songs are nice. I've read some have deeper, political meanings that aren't readily apparent. I think that's cool.

Not a fan, though.
