I know we have a lot of artists here in the forum so, what is your favorite medium?

Mine are soft pastels
Charcoal
Graphite

I get a serious kick out of using dry mediums. I am very tactile and thus I prefer items I can manipulate with my fingers.

What is the medium that is a brown square that you can engrave things onto? It has a hard texture.

Are you talking about linoleum block print?

Basically a piece of linoleum tile glued to wood that you carve images into, and then roll ink over to make prints.

Wood is my favorite! Carving animal figures,building furniture.
My most wild goal is to build a bed frame with head board that looks like you are sleeping
in the coils of an anaconda with the head at the head board ready to eat you. :D
