which is you favorite songs from any of the sound tracks?

Nnnnngggggg...... fighting..... overwhelming pedantic urge..... to point out that..... Star Wars Trilogy x2 doesn't strictly speaking have.... any 'songs' in it....... but themes..... nnnnggggggg......

Anyway, my personal fave is the Imperial theme from "The Empire Strikes Back" (or whatever the 'official' name is for it - I can't be mythered to look it up just now).

I love them all.

I like them all and have memorized them all. John Williams is a musical genius. However, I do say that stuff he has written in the past decade is starting to go downhill. He is being upstaged by the likes of Howard Shore and James Horner. So, I definitely like the soundtrack for the first trilogy of movies, IV, V, and VI, better than the second trilogy. Movie II is the worst. Still occupying and musically complex, which I highly appreciate, but doesn't generate the emotional connection as the first grouping of soundtracks did. I am glad, however, that Williams will be writing, or is writing as we speak, the soundtrack to the last one. It wouldn't be a complete movie without his additions to it.

I like the jazzy song from the Mos Eisley Cantina!

I like the music that plays during the Battle of Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back.

I like the song sung in Jabba's palace, and the Ewok victory song!

Back in1977 when Star Wars first came out, my local radio station used to play the "Star Wars Meddley" every night at 9:00 like clockwork. It was a great way to hear the whole movie all over again in 3 minutes....

I liked *all* of the Star Wars music. It was interesting how each character had their own theme, and the movie would use that theme to telegraph that character's appearance on screen. I liked Luke's theme and Vader's march the best.

Hmmm, AOTC Love Theme, Binary Sunset, Darth Vader's Theme, Duel of the Fates, To the Naboo Temple, Queen Amidala's Theme, Arrival at Tatooine, Cantina theme, Ewok celebration...In short, I love anything to do with Star Wars except for Jar Jar!

Binary Sunset - At "that bit", just send shivers down my spine. Its the bit in the movie where luke is outside staring out into the sunset on tatooine.

Return of the Jedi theme - not sure on the proper name but often goes on Sci Fi soundtrack compilation CDs as the ROTJ theme.

Duel of the Fates - haunting choral piece.

All of it...especially when performed by the L.A. Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl under the direction of John Williams himself.

I like the "Imperial March" and some other things. I don't really know the names of anything.

I like the imperial theme.
