From time to time I like to write my own stories.
Sometimes they are fanfics.
Sometimes they star my own characters.
And sometimes they are outright reboots of existing TV shows and films (among others).
What follows below to the fruits of a challenge I set myself to come up with the most outrageous story idea I could come up with!
Namely making 'The Simpson's' into an action adventure series like 'Doctor Who' which is my fave show of all time.
I must confess that I stole a lot of the ideas from 'Doctor Who' itself (mostly from 'The Night of the Doctor') as my aim wasn't to be original but to be outrageous and change the show completely,

The Last Simpson
Springfield, one year from now...
Lisa is on her way home from school in the school bus when suddenly she is enveloped in a blinding white light and taken to an alien space ship.
There she meets three alien crones who tell her that the universe is about to end, and that she has been chosen to be it's destroyer!
Lisa refuses but she is then she finds out that the teleportion process has gone wrong and that she is dying and that her only hope for survival is to drink a magic potion.
In panic she grabs one made from a sample of her fathers blood and turns into 'The War Lisa' who is also a male.
Then she is beamed down to Earth and begins (to her dismay) killing and destroying everyone and everything in sight, until she reaches critical mass (Homers blood is radioactive) blows up, opens up a very big black hole which swallows the entire universe!! !
Eons pass and a new universe is born, and thus a new Earth, but this time man does not evolve to become the dominant race (with technology to boot) but rather the Dinosaurs do the same thing, but better, albeit in a much more savage fashion.
At a certain point in time, Lisa awakes in a cave, now returned to her old self but with full memory of what she has done.
Now she is alone and must fight tooth and claw (or rather gun and sword) with a planet full of intelligent Dinosaurs who see her as the ultimate menace...
Yes I know that this story is unoriginal and maybe somewhat poorly written (I can do better, honest) but this idea is one which has been floating around in my head in a number of forms for over ten years and I thought I see what you all think of it.
Plus I've also been wondering if anyone else has come up with 'outrageous' story ideas and thought them completely sane.
I for one feel that if the makers of 'The Simpson's' did the story line (and NOT just as a 'Treehouse of Horror') I have come up with then they would have hit on their hands.
