Anyone dig it? For some reason it brings on the goosebumps and puts a gigantic smile on my face. Maybe it's 'cause these guys clearly have a hell of a lot more fun at work than I do?!? I'd be particularly interested to know what some of the younger folks around here think ... uber cool or totally irrelevant?

Well, they've got groove. I wouldn't go looking for a night out where they were performing, but they've got groove.

Verdict: they're not my cuppa joe, but that's okay.

The Bee Gees, and Hall and Oates, both evolved out of the philly scene.

We will never find a voice again like Lou Rawls.

My favorite male soul singer is - well- except for Al Green- is Teddy Pendergrass.

Somehow raw, and smooth at the same time ( otis and luther rolled into one).
