Hey probably the wrong forum and going to get moved but ... any Doors fans out there?

I love the Doors but its been many years since I listened to them and I am just rediscovering their brilliance ... aye ... I'm blown away.

I have almost always loved the Doors. I say "almost" because when I was little, I was terrified of "Riders on the Storm". Whenever it came on the radio I'd cry and beg my mom to turn it off. The Golden Bough by Sir James Frazer, about magic and religion, is the source of several of Jim Morrison's lyrics.

I'm not a diehard fan or anything, but I can definitely appreciate their musical creativity along with Jim Morrison's lyrics. The keyboards definitely grab my attention as well - a good keyboard/synth riff (is that the appropriate term?) always helps to get me into a song, possibly since I played keyboards in the high school band.

Yes! When I was growing up our house was mostly always filled with them along with The Cure, Genesis, Tool & plenty of others. I can vividly remember The Doors being played the most, you'll probably find there are quite a few fans around here.
