Ideas, Ideas, they say it is all
But what is in an idea but a representation of another
Do you represent the represented or represent the representer?
Foolish I say, man does not know all!
Science proves again and again,
That we do not know all of nature
Ideas change again and again
Falling and dying, and becoming new life
Circumstances change, and ideas change after
For why would one change one’s idea
When all is going just fine!
Is a symbol a fact, oh no it surely isn’t!
Man is a simple being!
It takes from nature
And responds like a mirror
Idealism will lead man astray
Lead him to think he is the source of all wisdom
He is higher than reality
That he invented reality
That nature is but a symbol
And when he pillages and pillages and nothing comes out
He starts to give up and torture himself
He must go higher and higher until he finds solace
But what can be higher than God
Yet you claim God is too high to be true
But what is reality but a rule
And what is a rule but supported by a reason
And when you ask where the reason came
Think to its earliest source
Not to the mind

Interesting...a commentary on how most people view "reality"--just going along with what they have been taught is "true", almost never considering that there is (potentially) so much more.

Pull your heads out of the sand, people....

(*If I interpreted this incorrectly, sorry--however, very powerful images, gives you a lot to think about.... :) *)
