Rocco DeLuca & The Burden has released an album entitled I Trust You to Kill Me. You can buy it directly from Ironworks Music for $10 (which is a great deal since iTunes sells it for $9.99 +DRM.) If you go to the main Ironworks Music site, you can listen to the entire song “Colorful,” which is my ultimate favorite song on the album. (Just click on the Launch MP3 Player button in the bottom left-hand corner.)

Lyrics from “Colorful”
you swim like you’re on fire/
live like your last day/
drink like its water/
theres no tommorow/
And you think no one can hear you/
Raise your hands to be called on/
you know all the answers

Or, if like me, you just prefer one or two songs over the entire album, you get them at iTunes for $0.99 each (+DRM of course.)

Here are 30 second samples of “Colorful” and “Gravitate” and “How Fast.”

You can now see the “rockumentary” also called I Trust You to Kill Me. I haven’t seen it yet, but I will eventually. I really like this music. Long live entrepreneurship and the American Dream!

I just want to know before checking it out: what genre is this music in?

It's kind of hard to specify, but it is listed under iTunes as ROCK. It isn't hard rock, though, or really what I would consider to be punk rock----kind of alternative. "Colorful" is kind of like Snow Patrol, and I wouldn't know how to define the others. It isn't headbang music, that's for sure.
