I was diagnosed with HFA last week.

I started creative this project about 3 years ago as a means of PTSD recovery. During this time I was able to pull together my splinter skills (multi instrumentalist, sound production, theatrics, visual art, film production) into a somewhat cohesive package.

I'm currently homeless, looking forward to setting up my studio at the next residence. got so much more stuff planned..

Best of luck! I'm currently doing just the same in terms of aligning my technological abilities, albeit in the interest of deciding between work or college. Big plans are great!

Welcome to WP by the way!

I think this would be a great subforum here honestly, we need more platform to fill the gaps in our professions. After all, we certainly seem to collect more professions than the layperson.

If you can't find a friend or relative to take you in for a while, have you tried the Salvation Army Shelter? If you don't have a Salvation Army shelter in your area, some churches have facilities, or they have members who will put people up for a while. You can also contact the Red Cross, or your state assistance office to see what they might be able to do for you. If you are able bodied another possibility is to spread the word that you will do house work in exchange for a place to stay.

I had to stay at a Salvation Army shelter once for about a month. Then a relative let me "house sit" a dilapidated fixer upper investment home he had for about 3 months, until my father and step mother managed to find and buy an old trailer home for me in the state where they live. I pay them rent out of my SS disability payments. I am a little over 1/2 an hour away from where they live, but by living separately from them, we are not always driving each other crazy.

Hope my suggestions help. :D

Personal economics at its' best. The longer we have you on this planet, the better!

Cberg, thanks for your comments. I wish you well with your endeavours!
Queastor, thank you for your concern, but I am staying with a good friend at the moment. We do have the Salvos in my area, but after much research, I have to say that I am philosophically opposed to them.

Likewise. Their proceeds support a number of radical right wing causes.

and right wing causes do not champion the rights of the individual. And autists are some of the most unique individuals I know.
