Unleash your voice and speak to me in truth
(My Heart would break upon a hint of jest)
I'll take your solemn word as sign of proof
And then and only then will I take rest

Oh, Please! Do not think me some fool or dunce,
My soul cant bear enough to take that pain
I'll love you always if I loved you once
I'm lost and I have naught to lose or gain

Afar I see a distant glint of hope
And maybe there, there is no dark or cold
But lost or broken now I cannot cope
No one tells you the warmth of love can scold

Pity me not but do not be a liar
Your truth, those words, are all that I desire

Iambic P's! Yeah!! !

Here's a rhyming couplet, to continue with this ye olde theme:

And if my body cause me to miss you
Beside me a spare mountain of tissues

Iambic Pentameter is the best, but I like writing in Dactyllic Hexameter, just because I am addicted to a challenge.

I can't tell you how much I love this form. I won't post some of my older sonnets because I'm embarrassed by them but I might write a new one and put it here,

This idea astounds me because i want to know more!
What is Iambic Pentameter and Dactyllic Hexameter?
Could these ideas have possible potential for rythyms and ryming
and lyrical writhing?

A gift, of course, is a curse
but a course, of course, is a direction

I just wrote a sonnet in Iambic Pentameter, took me a day.
ALso I wrote a Terzanelle in Dactyllic Hexameter, took me 2 weeks
